We are looking for experienced Graphic Designers able to make the difference in branding deployement, creativity and impactful graphic communications to support the European Investment Bank in delivering outstanding materials to its broader audiences.

About this position

This is a full-time position at EIB headquarters in Luxembourg. Your main task is to ensure product design and typesetting based on formats and templates, ready for digital and print communications..

We are looking for candidates with a Degree in Graphic Design, Branding, Creative Arts or similar areas with at least five years (ideally ten) of relevant experience in delivering graphic materials.

Experience working on EU projects or within EU institutions is a clear winning point.

The challenge

You are a top professional, curated in graphic designm able to work hard on:
- Product design and typesetting based on standard formats and templates
- Design and illustration of publications
- Typesetting and layout of text and graphics
- Digital files, including web-optimised PDFs and print-optimised PDFs
- Responsive digital publications using third-party platformsPackage folders with InDesign files and all project components
- Design and layout of PowerPoint presentations
- Graphics for physical and digital production, including infographics, interactive animations and illustrations (also 3-dimensional illustration)
- Data visualisation
- Video editing, with and without motion graphics
- Visual identities.

Skills required

From the technical point of view, you need to master Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, having sound knowledge of :
- Pre-print, print and post-print techniques
- Accessibilty requirements in print and digital design
- Web design, web technical needs and CSS
- UX/UI principles.
Organisation, communication and soft skills:
- Creativity
- Team player
- Organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Very good knowledge of the rules of typography
- Knowledge of printing techniques
- Understanding of the purpose of communication
- Understanding of the working environment and especially the banking sector
- Customer-oriented approach
- Full working proficiency in English, accredited with at least level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (or equivalent).
