EIB - National/Regional Media Market Experts
We are looking for National/Regional Media Market Experts to conduct local market research and insights reporting in Europe and abroad to support the European Investment Bank in reaching EU citizens, stakeholders and a large variety of audiences accros Europe.
About this position
Your goal is to scan national/regional markets to produce key input by mapping media, government, influencers and other key stakeholders on the national arenas to help the European Investment Bank in its outreach accross european counties and international arenas.
We are looking for candidates with a Degree in Media, Journalism, Communications, or related field, with at least four years of relevant experience in market/media research, stakeholder mapping and campaigns support.
The challenge
- Conduct national/regional market research and insights reporting
- Provide cultural, political, and economic context for local audiences
- Advise on messaging localization and adaptation
- Support local stakeholder mapping (media, government, influencers, NGOs)
- Identify market-specific risks and opportunities
- Coordinate with local partners, agencies, and community groups
- Execute market-level campaigns and outreach
- Advise on compliance with local regulations and norms
Skills required
- Deep knowledge of specific regional and national markets, with a sound understanding of local media and regulatory environment.
- Full working proficiency in English, accredited with at least level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (or equivalent) and of the national language of the country where the specialist is required

- Organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Very good knowledge of the rules of typography
- Knowledge of printing techniques
- Understanding of the purpose of communication
- Understanding of the working environment and especially the banking sector
