About this position

As a Junior Digital Communications Consultant you will be part of an international team of experts promoting the use of financial instruments across Europe, interacting with EU stakeholders and institutions, including:
● The European Commission
● The European Investment Bank
● The European Investment Fund
● Managing authorities from all EU countries
● Financial Intermediaries and Financial Recipients

The challenge

You will be at the crossroads of a multidisciplinary team of graphic designers, social media managers, video specialists, communication strategists, event managers, copywriters and thematic experts assuming the following tasks:
● Support communications and reporting systems by drafting content and infographics for online use;
● Provide support for the drafting of written content to be used on websites;
● Assist in planning and reporting on tasks in the areas of digital design and creative development;
● Contribute to other digital communication activities as required;
● Support in preparing material for campaigns and related creative materials.
● Provide assistance in layouting and designing various communications supports to be used online (e.g. thumbnails, editing of photos);
● Contribute to updating and uploading content on websites (advisory.eib.org; fi-compass.eu; others);
● Supporting development of new website pages;
● Support in maintaining the website, monitoring the implementation of new story designs and updating content and videos;
● Support in delivering campaigns and related creative materials to promote stories and videos;
● Support in writing website reports, summaries and presentations to support the communications needs;
● Ensure consistency of design/content/layout across website elements;
● Assist in delivery of video interviews, audiovisual copywriting, video production, liaison with audiovisual experts;
● Support, where relevant, Social Media activity and reporting;

Skills required

● Experience: At least 3 years of experience in digital communication, preferably in EU-related projects or campaigns.
● Knowledge: Good understanding of EU communication rules.
● Language Skills: C2-level English proficiency with strong writing and editing capabilities.
● Adaptability: Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
● Technology Proficiency: Mastering digital communication tools, content management systems, and social media platforms.
