Skills required
• Master degree and 13 years of professional experience or bachelor degree and 17 years of professional experience
• At least 8 years of experience with Java
• At least 4 years of experience with REST webservices
• At least 3 years of experience with Angular (version 2 or later)
• At least 5 years of experience with each of the following technologies: Spring Boot, JPA (or Hibernate), SQL
• At least 3 years of experience with Container Application Development (Kubernetes or Docker)
• At least 1 year of experience with DevOps / Continuous Deployment (e.g. Jenkins) (min. competence level 2);
• At least 3 year of experience with AWS
Salary and Conditions
Location: Brussels, BE
Salary up to: 550€/day
Worksite type: On-site and Remote
Contract type: Freelancer only

European Commission and other European Institutions provide a pleasant working environment with a great work-life balance to their teams. You will never be asked to do extra hours or work on weekends.
Salaries and rates are based on the professional’s degree and years of experience. For example, to receive 550€/day (11.000€/month gross), you should have a 5 years degree + 13 years of professional experience. The travelling and accommodation in Brussels will be at your own charge.
European Institutions use a hybrid mode, where developers need be onsite/office max 1 day per week.
