Senior Data Science and Solution Engineer - Hybrid
There is the urgent need for a Senior Data Science and Solution Engineer to join a large European institution in long term project.
The challenge
-Implementing Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Data Science (DS), and Data ---Engineering (DE) techniques effectively.
-Developing and managing SSA models and analytic solutions based on specific guidelines and business needs.
-Orchestrating and administering the deployment and integration of SSA models and solutions.
-Hands-on experience with various programming languages and tools, including Python, R, Julia, and others.
-Understanding and supporting containerization technology and Kubernetes within the context of SSA.
-Creating prototypes to showcase the value of SSA models and solutions.
Staying updated with the evolving advanced analytics industry and vendor offerings.
-Coordinating with multiple stakeholders from different teams and organizations.
-Producing and reviewing relevant documents and reports related to SSA.
Collaborating closely with data scientists, data engineers, IT implementation teams, and experts from various fields within the EU Member States.
Skills required
The role requires expertise in Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Data Science (DS), and Data Engineering (DE).
Responsibilities encompass designing, implementing, and managing Safety and Security Analytics (SSA) models using ML/DL/DS/DE techniques, aligned with SSA documentation and business needs.
It involves the end-to-end lifecycle of SSA models, proficiency in tools like Python, R, Julia, and more, and support for containerization and related technologies.
It includes research, experimentation, coordination with stakeholders, and staying current with evolving analytics trends.
Salary and Conditions
Location: Brussels, BE
Salary up to: 500€/day
Worksite type: On-site and Remote
Contract type: Freelancer or Employee
Other points of the offer
1 day in the Brussels office every 2 weeks. Travel and expenses won't be covered.
The Data Science and Solution Engineering services should rely on close cooperation with the ICS2 SSA Data Scientists, ICS2 SSA Data Engineers, ICS2 SSA IT implementation team and contractors. Also with the Data Analysts, the Data Scientists, Risk Management and Data Protection experts from the EU Member States. The consultant delivering the service should be capable of understanding their requirements and provide necessary support in SSA workflow related aspects.
