Senior Java Backend Developer - Full remote

The challenge
- Analysis and design of new features.
- Development, integration, and support of several software components
- Ensure technical directions and choices, design, realize and validate long-term, reliable and adaptive technical systems.
- Participation in daily scrum meetings with the project team.
- Maintenance (corrective, adaptive, and perfective) of applications;
Skills required
Java developer with minimum 7 years experience.
Good experience & knowledge of latest trends in Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Oracle, SQL, HTML, XML, XSD.
Good knowledge of web services (SOAP, REST).
Good experience in working in an Agile team.
Experience with the following tools/ frameworks: Maven, GIT.
Good knowledge of Micro Services.
Ability to work in English.
Documents will be written in English.
Master degree is an asset.
Experience with Angular is an Asset.
Experience with AWS and/or Cloud Technologies is an Asset.
Experience in PKI is an asset.
Salary and Conditions
Location: Brussels, BE
Salary up to: 550€/day
Worksite type: Remote only
Contract type: Freelancer or Employee
Other points of the offer
The position is a full remote position (anywhere in Europe - EU27) where the consultant must be available to come to Brussels office one day per month or 2 days every two months (travelling and accommodation at the expenses of the consultant).
The maximum daily rate of 550€/day is for IT professionals with at least 13 years of experience and a master in IT. Depending on the experience of the candidate, other rates may apply.
You will be hired by an IT consulting company that has a direct contract with the final client.
