DevOps Consultant at eu-LISA
A DevOps Consultant is needed at eu-LISA in Strasbourg, France.
The challenge
Provide consultancy support and conduct studies on technical, as well as strategic issues, regarding information systems and IT processes.
Skills required
At least 4 years experience in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) including 3 years in consultancy among which 2 years in relevant requested domain(s) (e.g. consultancy in governance and management, hardware and software, telecommunication, information systems, service-oriented architectures, etc.)
Desirable experience in specific cases:
• Business continuity management processes including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), risk assessment, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), business continuity testing, exercising and testing;
• Business continuity and disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies;
• Certified or Member-grade of membership of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) or equivalent;
• BSI ISO22301 Lead Auditor Qualification;
• Ability to actively participate in meetings, good communicator;
• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working are mandatory.
• Capability to provide recommendations on improving the
structure and efficiency of an organisation's IT systems
• Capability of working independently, as well as in teams
• Client orientation.
Additional qualifications expected:
• Very good knowledge and hands-on experience with DevOps pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Sonar, Artifactory);
• Experience in monitoring, fixing incidents on systems;
• Ability to actively participate in meetings, good communicator;
• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working are mandatory;
• Capability of working independently, as well as in teams;
• Client orientation.
Salary and Conditions
Location: Strasbourg, FR
Salary up to: 450€/day
Worksite type: On-site and Remote
Contract type: Freelancer or Employee
Other points of the offer
Currently, due to Covid, all staff is working 100% remote and it will remain like that till the end of the pandemic. After, or even during COVID depending on the requirements of the local team, candidates must be ok to relocate to Strasbourg.
France permanent employment contract is also one option, with salaries around 2500-3000€ net, when meeting all criteria.
