Java Full-stack Developer at European Commission
The European Commission is looking for an Java Full-stack Developer for the Development of the CAP Information Systems.
The challenge
The tasks are related to the conception, development and maintenance of the CAP Information Systems. It is expected that the Contractor’s service provider will ensure technical directions and choices, will design, realize and validate long-term, reliable and adaptive technical systems.
Skills required
As a Java Full-stack developer, the candidate will review and re-design the View, Data Binding and Routing components of existing systems.
To this purpose, the candidate must have:
• An experience of at least 9 years in the development of Java applications;
• An experience of at least 3 years with each of the following technologies:
➢ HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• An experience of at least 2 years with Angular (any version).
• An experience of at least 5 years with each of the following technologies:
➢ Spring, JPA, SQL
Experience in Vaadin framework would be an additional asset.
Salary and Conditions
Location: Brussels, BE
Salary up to: 450€/day
Worksite type: On-site and Remote
Contract type: Freelancer or Employee
Other points of the offer
Currently, due to Covid, all staff is working 100% remote and it will remain like that till the end of the pandemic. After, or even during COVID depending on the requirements of the local team, candidates must be ok to relocate to Brussels.
Belgium permanent employment contract is also one option, with salaries around 2500-3000€ net, when meeting all criteria.
