Data Visualisation Consultant at the European Commission

A dynamic and energetic Data Visualisation consultant is needed to join a project at the European Commission.

The challenge

Build and present data using state-of-the-art visualisation elements and features, aiming at helping business users quickly and effectively understand the insights and knowledge from the data.
Build ETL flows to gather data from multiple sources, like traditional databases, data lakes and open APIs.

Skills required

Experience with frontend technologies oriented to data visualisation (e.g. React.JS, Angular, d3.js…).
Experience with (big) data processing technologies/tools: data storage (e.g. DBMS), SQL, Python, Hadoop, Open Source ecosystems, ETL tools.
Experience with Dashboarding tools (e.g. with QlikSense).
Experience with data quality (approaches and tools).
Experience with de-normalised data modelling optimised for data exploitation

Salary and Conditions

Location: Brussels, BE

Salary up to: 550€/day

Worksite type: On-site only

Contract type: Freelancer or Employee

Client: European Commission

Other points of the offer

The salary/daily rates presented are the maximum as a freelancer when meeting all criteria.
Belgium permanent employment contract is also one option, with salaries around 2500-3500€ net, when meeting all criteria.

You will be hired by an IT consulting company that has a direct contract with the European Commission, you won't have any contract with the European Commission.
