Java Full-stack Developer at European Commission
DG FISMA (European Commission) has an open position for Java Full-stack Developer, requiring Java, Jquery, Javascript, Angular and SQL.
The challenge
The IT consultant should be motivated and will involve himself in the project in order to understand the business and being able to work independently as well as in tight cooperation with the other experts and the business stakeholders.
The person must be able to learn quickly new technologies, challenges being for him a source of motivation.
A proactive attitude is very important since the expert fills different roles in the project life-cycle.
He must be able to understand quickly the user needs and to discuss the functional requirements directly with user representatives or with the business analyst.
Skills required
Capability of rapid self-starting, learning and of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment;
Knowledge and experience on search engines;
Good level of English
Deep knowledge in:
- Java
- JQuery
- JavaScript
- Angular
Experienced in:
- Oracle
- SQL
Nice to have:
- Able to speak french
- JIRA
- Confluence
- HTML5
- XML
- SVN/GIT
- KendoUI
- eUI
- Ajax
- Fuse-Box frameworks
- Tools for automatic testing.

Salary and Conditions
Location: Brussels, BE
Salary up to: 450€/day
Worksite type: On-site only
Contract type: Freelancer or Employee

The salary/daily rates presented are the maximum as a freelancer when meeting all criteria.
Belgium permanent employment contract is also one option, with salaries around 2500-3500€ (value after all taxes), when meeting all criteria.
