EU Municipal Finance Specialist
Are you an urban finance specialist ?
Work as senior expert advising the European Investment Bank in municipal financing, including infrastructure and urban climate plans and initiatives.
About this position
The successful candidate will assess and evaluate financing strategies for municipal projects to develop urban sustainable and clean infrastructures in EU cities.
The challenge
The expert will deploy his/her knowledge and experience reviewing financing proposals , preparation of budgets, and financing approaches. This could include loans, municipal bonds, grant co-funding, private co-financing, and utility financing. To do this, you need at least five (5) years in municipal finance or infrastructure financing, with experience in preparing multi-annual investment plans and financing.
Skills required
Strong analytical abilities in evaluating financing strategies for municipal infrastructure. Knowledge of financial instruments and risk assessment.
Sound knowledge of EU regulations and funding mechanisms related to municipal finance.
