About this position
As an Event Manager, you will play a key role in designing and delivering events for prestigious EU institutions such as:
● The European Commission and the EU agencies.
● The European External Action Service
● The European Investment Bank
Your mission will be to create seamless events—both in-person and virtual—that effectively communicate EU policies, campaigns, and actions to diverse audiences.
The challenge
● Plan, organize, and execute events ranging from conferences to workshops and public outreach initiatives.
● Manage all logistical and operational aspects, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and technical support.
● Collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with EU branding, policies, and protocols.
● Balance creativity and strategic objectives while adhering to tight budgets and deadlines.
Skills required
● Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in event management, including experience with EU institutions or projects.
● Expertise: A thorough understanding of EU policies, procedures, and protocols.
● Language Skills: C1-level English proficiency for effective communication with stakeholders and teams.
● Organization: Strong project management skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
● Flexibility: Ability to adapt to dynamic environments
