About this position
As a Copywriter, you’ll play a key role in shaping the communication strategies of prominent EU institutions such as:
● The European Commission
● The European External Action Service
● The European Investment Bank
Your work will help promote EU policies, campaigns, and actions to a diverse audience through clear, creative, and targeted messaging.
The challenge
● Write and edit a wide range of content, including articles, social media posts, speeches, reports, brochures, publications, presentations, press releases, memos and promotional materials.
● Adapt tone and messaging to various audiences and communication platforms.
● Work collaboratively to ensure all content aligns with EU branding and communication guidelines.
● Meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Skills required
● Expertise: Proven experience as a professional copywriter with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful projects.
● Language Proficiency: Native English speaker with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
● Knowledge: Understanding of EU policies, campaigns, and institutions.
● Advantage: Previous experience working on EU-funded projects or with EU institutions is highly valued.
● Flexibility: Ability to work as a freelancer or under a contract-based agreement.
